recently a woman ordered a pair of custom made riding boots from http://www.adlershoes.com and when she received them they looked quite different than the model shown in the picture.

She tried them on and the fit of the foot and shaft was perfect but she was still upset that they looked very different than the model in the picture shown on Adler’s website. She approached Adler and demanded to know why and that she wants her money back because the boots looked so different.

They give the customer credit for common sense that they realize that if a customer has relatively short and substantial calf’s, the boots will of course look very different to the model shown. This is the nature of custom made boots and not a reason to return them asking for your money back.

This seems to be a normal common sense thing to most of us, but apparently, there are people out there who think that, despite their short, substantial calf, somehow a boot-maker can create a Dr. Who like Tardis boot that offers more space on the inside than is shown on the outside.
